The Department of Management, BIT Durg, by virtue of its affiliation with CSVTU University, adheres to the program curriculum and syllabi prescribed by the university for the MBA course. A structured and systematic process for the dissemination of the curriculum structure and preparation of Session plan, which aligns with Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekanand Technical University guidelines.

The process begins with the university’s academic bodies, including the syllabus drafting committees, academic council, and board of studies, which finalizes and forwards the comprehensive curriculum structure and syllabus to the Head of the Institute (Principal). The Principal then communicates the received curriculum structure and syllabus to the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), which ensures its timely dissemination to the respective Department Heads. The Head of the Department (HOD) organizes faculty meetings to brief faculty members about curriculum updates and ensures implementation of the prescribed syllabus and learning outcomes. Following to this, subject allocation is done, and faculty meetings are conducted to discuss individual course responsibilities.

Faculty members prepare a gap assessment by reviewing industry needs, technological advancements and stakeholder feedback to identify areas where additional knowledge or skill enhancement is necessary. Based on this gap analysis, each faculty member prepares detailed session plans incorporating University guidelines, along with any planned activities. The session plans are submitted for approval, and upon validation by the HOD, they are formally disseminated to students at the beginning of the course. Students are provided access to the syllabus through the Institute’s website and Notice Board.

The process is further strengthened through a structured mapping of Course Outcomes (COs) to Program Outcomes (POs), along with continuous evaluation of curriculum effectiveness through examinations, projects, stakeholder feedback, and industry engagement. This ongoing cycle ensures that the curriculum maintains academic consistency, remains aligned with accreditation and university norms, and enhances the industrial readiness and employability of the students.
