About Centre
B.I.T.,DURG started “Udaan Incubation Centre” for nurturing and overseeing innovation and entrepreneurship. It is a platform for nurturing, encouraging and developing innovation and entrepreneurial skills among students, research scholars , as well as other students of the region.The Centre aims at encouraging and facilitating innovative and out of the box thinking for promoting entrepreneurial temperament among the youths. The centre will assist the students by means of training and mentoring through aspiring entrepreneurs and transform their propositions to viable business entities in association with different collaborators.
Objectives
- To create jobs, wealth and business aligning with national priorities.
- To promote new technology/knowledge/innovation basedstartups.
- To provide a platform for speedy commercialization of technologies developed in the institute.
- To build a vibrant start-up ecosystem, by establishing a network between academia, financial institution, industries and other institutions.
- To provide cost effective, value added services to start-ups like mentoring, legal, technical, intellectual property related services.
