Mr Kishor Kumar Deka

ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR

Prof. Kishor Kumar Deka is an accomplished academician and researcher, currently serving as an Associate Professor in the Department of Management at Bhilai Institute of Technology (BIT), Durg. With a strong educational foundation, he holds a Management degree with specialization in Human Resource from M.P.B. University, Bhopal, along with Master’s degrees in Commerce and English Literature from Jiwaji University, Gwalior. Bringing over three decades of rich teaching and research experience, Prof. Deka has made significant contributions to academia through numerous publications in reputed journals and active participation in Faculty Development Programs (FDPs), Entrepreneurship Development Programs (EDPs), and Workshops. His academic repertoire spans across a wide range of subjects including HR Analytics, Organizational Development and Change, Compensation Management, Emerging Issues in HRM, Strategic Management, Entrepreneurship Management, and Managerial Economics. His ongoing research focuses on Human Resource and Organizational Development, with a keen interest in exploring new dimensions in these fields. Beyond the classroom, Prof. Deka is deeply passionate about mentoring students, especially in Economics, and finds inspiration in exploring nature trails, reflecting his balanced approach to intellectual and personal growth. Driven by a vision to nurture future leaders and innovators, Prof. Deka continues to contribute to the advancement of knowledge and the holistic development of students.
