To develop a quality culture in the institute throughquality-enhancing and sustaining initiatives to achieve academic excellence.
MISSION
To establish quality systems for outcome based learning, research and innovationwith the right mix of professional, ethical, societal and environmental concernsto achieve academic excellence.
FUNCTIONS OF IQAC
- To channelize and systematize the efforts and measures towards academic excellence
- To solicit, format and implement feedback/ suggestions from stake holders on quality related affairs.
- To establish outcome based learning environment with the right mix of professional, ethical, societal and environmental concerns
- To encourage departments to establish student learning-centric environment to use ICT tools for teaching and learning process and to inculcate value–based education system.
- To encourage departments to organize seminars, workshops, orientation and faculty development program.
- To encourage all the departments to outreach and build relationships with the institutes and industries of repute at global level.
- To develop benchmarks for quality parameters, universal rules and rubrics for all sections.
- To assess the annual progress of departments through timely internal and external audit.
- To develop an Institutional data base and documentation of the various activities leading to quality improvement.
- To consolidate the annual quality assurance report (AQAR) and to make it available for all stake holders.
- To promote research culture among staff and students.
