Dr. Jyothi Pillai is a Professor at Bhilai Institute of Technology (BIT) Durg. She did her B.Sc., MCA and Ph.D. in Computer Science& Information Technology. She has joined Bhilai Institute of Technology (BIT) Durg in the capacity of Associate Professor in 2001. She has presented and published 30 research papers in National /International Conferences and impact factor Journals. She has been invited in various conferences and the findings of her research has been prese4nted in National and International conferences. Her research area mainly focuses on Data Mining, Soft Computing Software Engineering, and Big Data Analytics. She has organized many National level Conferences. Presently Dr. Jyothi Pillai is guiding 03 PhD scholars at CSVTU, Bhilai. She is a Life Member of Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) from the year 2004. She has done her Ph.D. in Computer Science & Information Technology, from Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University, Raipur, Chhattisgarh, India, under the guidance of Prof. O.P.Vyas, International Institute of Technology, Raipur, Chhattisgarh, India (Thesis entitled, “EXPLORATION OF SOFT COMPUTING APPROACHES IN TEMPORAL ITEMSET UTILITY MINING"). Doctorate Degree was awarded to Dr. Jyothi Pillai in August 2016.
