Dr (Mrs.) Sumita Nair

Dr. Mrs. Sumita Nair is currently working as an Associate Professor in Deptt. of Applied Chemistry, BIT Durg. In terms of academics, Dr. Nair attained her B. Sc. Degree in 1996 and M.Sc. in Chemistry with specialization in Inorganic Chemistry in the year 1998 from A. P. S. University, Rewa, M.P., and was awarded Ph.D. degree in Applied Chemistry in the year 2004 from Pt. R. S. S. University, Raipur, C. G. and is Gold medalist in M. B. A. (part time) in 2013 from C. S. V. T. U. Bhilai. In terms of experience, Dr. Nair has more than 25 years of teaching and 27 years of research experience. Dr. Nair has published 39 scientific papers in International/ National Indexed journals, 18 full length papers in proceedings of International/National conferences and Presented 60 Scientific papers in National/ International Conferences. She has undertaken one research project from CCOST, Raipur and 04 research scholars have been awarded Ph. D. degree under her supervision from C. S. V. T. U. Bhilai. She has published One Design Patent under Govt. of India in 2025.
