Dr. Shubhrata Nagpal is Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering atBhilai Institute of Technology, Durg. Dr Nagpal has done her Bachelor’sdegree in Mechanical Engineering from Government Engineering College, Jabalpur (M.P.) under RDV, Jabalpur. Dr. Nagpal has done her Masters in Machine Design from RGPV, Bhopal (M.P.) with Gold Medal. She holds a Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering from National Institute of Technology,Raipur (C.G.) and specializes in stress analysis. With 30 years of teaching and research experience, Dr. Nagpal has published extensively in leading SCI/Scopus and UGC Approved indexed journals.Dr. Nagpal has participated in many conferences / seminars to present research papers, to deliver keynote speeches and to chair the academic sessions of national and international level. She has been involved in organizing many workshops / training/ seminars/ conferences and delivering expert lectures. Dr. Nagpal is the member of editorial boards and reviewer of many prestigious journals.Dr. Nagpal has guided many projects of undergraduate and post graduate students. Two research scholars have awarded PhD under herguidance. Presently she is supervising sixresearch scholars for their doctoral program. Outside of academia, she enjoys mentoring students in different competitions and exploring nature trails.
