Summary : The day of the conference started 11.00AM with inauguration ceremony in the presence of Dr. M. K. Gupta Principal, BIT, Durg, Dr. Arun Arora, Director, BIT, Durg and Dr. Namita Brahme, Professor SOS Physics & Astrophysics, PT RSSU, Raipur as a Chief Guest of the conference. After the formal inauguration of the conference the technical session were started. The first technical session chaired by Dr. Ruby Das madam and Dr. Namita Brahme as the keynote speaker with her lecture titled brief overview on luminescence and its application. Next there was an invited talk of Dr. Kavita Gour madam, Professor Dept. of Electronics, Mata Gujri Mahila Mahavidayalya, Jabalpur on Nanocrystalline CuSe photoelectrode used in photoelectrochemical solar cell. In her lecture she discusses about the fabrication of solar cell and its uses. The second technical session was chaired by Dr. Meera Gupta HOD Physics, Govt. Girls College, Durg. Further there was a talk delivered by Dr. Ajay Vasudeo Rane, Composite Research Group, Dept. Mechanical Engg. Durban University South Africa. The lecture titled Nano Materials: Architecture in polymer Composite materials. He shared his worked of polymer composites and its applications. The second day session of the conference was chaired by Dr. Anjali Oudhia, Professor, Govt. Science College, Raipur and Keynote speaker were Dr. Mukul Gupta, Sceintist G, UGC DAE Consortium for Scientific Research, Indore and Dr. Rajiv Rawat, Scientist G, UGC DAE Consortium for Scientific Research, Indore. Also, some research scholars presented their research work. The vote of thanks was delivered by Organizing Secretary Dr. Rajesh Lalwani.

Summary : BITCON 2021 had 48 participants registered including 7 faculty members, 15 Research Scholars and 26 P.G. Students. We had 2 key note speakers who delivered their lecture before lunch on 22nd october 2021, afterwards 1st Technical session was conducted. First keynote was given by Dr. Sabriye Yusan, Professor from Nuclear Technology Department, Ege University, Turkey on the topic “Applications of nanomaterials for separation of Radionuclides”. The second Key note was delivered by Dr. Nitai Charan Giri, Professor from Central Institute of Petrochemical Engineering and Technology, Raipur, C.G. on the topic “Environmental epigenetics: interaction between arsenic and histone demethylases”. Post lunch the Session Chair of 1st Technical Session was Dr. Shweta Choubey Professor and Head, Basic Sciences and Humanities from Govt. Engineering College, Raipur, C.G. We had five paper presentations by the research scholars. Shri. Rakesh Dewangan, Sr. Scientist from Central Ground Water Board, Raipur, C.G. chaired our IInd Technical Session on 23rd October 2021. Six research Scholars presented their research paper with questionnaire and discussions on the topic. We concluded the session by valedictory note.

Summary : On 22nd october 2021, a National conference on the theme, “Smart Technologies in Electrical and Electronics Engineering” was conducted by EEE department BIT, Durg in the online mode (google meet ID link :ovu –xana-wue) . Venue of the conference was ELS-7. The inaugural function started at 11.00 AM, to mark the beginning of the event Dr. Surekha Bhusnur, Convener, Professor and Head, Dr. Nagendra Tripathi and Mr. Mousam Sharma, organizing secretary, offered prayers to Goddess Saraswati and lit the sacred lamp. This was followed by welcome address by the head of the department and a motivational video message by Dr. Mohan Gupta, Principal BIT, Durg. There after the proceedings of the conference were unveiled by the Head of the department and committee members. Fifteen papers were contributed from postgraduate, undergraduate and research scholars in the conference. The conference was organized in 4 sessions, keynote and paper presentation sessions. In the first session, Mrs. Naushin Anjum introduced the speaker to the gathering; keynote address was delivered by Dr. Subhojit Ghosh, Asso. Professor, NIT Raipur on the topic, “Smart Grid”, He also chaired the paper presentation session. The afternoon session started at 2.30 PM, the session was conducted by Naushin Anjum, the keynote address was delivered by Dr. Varsha Singh from NIT, Raipur, on the topic, “Soft computing Techniques for Multilevel Inverters” followed by which paper presentation session was held. On 23rd October third session started at 11.00 AM, Mr. Abhishek Agrawal and Mr. Anupam Agrawal conducted the session, Mr. Abhishek Agrawal introduced the session chair, Dr. Saji T. Chacko, to the participants for paper Presentation. In the fourth session, to conclude Vote of thanks was proposed by Mr. Mousam Sharma, organizing secretary of BITCON 2021, EEE. Dr. Nagendra Tripathi Professor and all faculty members contributed in making arrangements towards successful organization of the event.

Summary : The Department of Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering BIT Durg organized a National Conference on 22nd and 23rd October 2021. The participants were PG Students and UG Students and 52 of them attended and participated in the conference. BITCON2021 was conducted on Google Meet platform under the guidance of Dr. Naveen Kumar Dewangan (HOD and Convener of National Conference). The aim of the Conference was to enrich and enhance the quality of innovative research of the issues at the core of national growth through developments in various sectors of Electronic Engineering. The event started with online registration of the participants from 10:00 am. This was followed by Saraswati Vandana at 11.00 am and welcome address along with report of Electronics & Telecomm. Engg. Department by Dr. Naveen Kumar Dewangan (HOD, E & TC). The conference was divided into four sessions. The first session was Expert talk and was delivered by the keynote speaker “Dr. Abhinav Sharma, Assistant Professor, Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, School of Engineering, University of Petroleum and Energy Studies, Dehradun" on the topic “Role of Data Science and Artificial intelligence in our day today life” The second session, started with the Keynote address by the expert “Dr. Nipun Kumar Mishra, Assistant Professor, Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering, School of Studies in Engineering & Technology, Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya, Koni, Bilaspur” on the topic “Challenges for Wireless Communication in 5G” followed by the 1st technical session of paper presentations. The session was chaired by “Mr. Abhishek Singh, Department of Atomic Energy, Kolkata”. In this session total 6 papers were presented. After the Participants presented their technical papers, Session Chair Mr. Abhishek Singh concluded the session by providing suggestions and motivated the participants to write quality journal papers. On the second day fourth session started with 2nd Technical session of Paper Presentation, a total of 6 papers were presented in this session. The session was chaired by “Prof. Yogesh Bahendwar, Department of Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering, S. B. Patil College of Engineering, Pune.” The participants presented the paper very enthusiastically and received valuable suggestions from the session chair. The event ended with vote of thanks proposed by Mrs. Suchitra Pandey. The event ended up at around 12.45pm.

Summary : BITCON 2021 organised by Department of Humanities on the topic “Interdisciplinary Research Approaches in Humanities and Social Sciences”, on 22nd and 23rd October 2021. The conference Received 13 Full-length research papers. The focus area of the conference was to examine the advancement of knowledge from interdisciplinary perspectives in the field of Humanities and Social Sciences. The event started on 22nd October 2021 with registration of the participants from 10:00 am. The Inaugural Session started by Saraswati Vandana at 11:00 am along with Welcome Speech by Dr Swarnita Sharma (Organising Secretary), followed by Dr Anjana Sekhar (Convener & Head, Department of Humanities) and Dr M.K Gupta (Principal, BIT, Durg, C. G.) address. The Chief Guest Prof. Sheila Tiwari, (Retd. Principal, Govt Girls’ PG College, Bilaspur, CG) unveiled the Proceeding of the conference. The first Technical session was presented by the Keynote Speaker, Dr Braj Mohan (Assistant Professor, Department of Linguistics and Contemporary English, The English and Foreign Languages University, Regional Campus, Lucknow) and the session was summed up by the Chairperson, Dr Biman Mondal (Assistant Professor in English, Haldia Institute of Technology, West Bengal, India). The second Technical session was organized on 23rd October 2021, the Keynote Speaker and the Chairperson were Dr Anubhav Pradhan (Assistant Professor, Department of Liberal Art, IIT, Bhilai, India) and Dr Yeddu Vijaya Babu (Assistant Professor, Department of Humanities and Social sciences National Institute of Technology, Raipur) respectively. The other participants talked about the role of Humanities in Competency Management, Innovative Teaching-Learning Methodologies, Digital Pedagogies, Integration of Humanities and Technology etc. At last valedictory session was conducted in which feedback was shared by all participants and delegates followed with vote of thanks by the convener.

Summary : The Department of Management BIT Durg organized a National Conference on 22nd and 23rd October2021. The participants were Research Scholars, PG Students and BITCON2020 was conducted on Google Meet under the guidance of Dr. Urvashi Shrivastava (Head and Convener of National Conference ) The conference was divided into three sessions. The aim of the Conference was to explore contemporary issues erupted during the pandemic and due to new technologies and environmental pressures brought about pandemic and finding solutions for it. The event started with registration of the participants from 10.00am to 11:00 am. This was followed by Saraswati Vandana at 10.00 am and all the faculty members participated and prayed in front of Godess of Knowledge and wisdom which is followed by floral welcome given by Dr. Urvashi Shrivastav to the Keynote Speaker Dr. Bobby B Pandey, Assistant Professor, Guru Ghasidas University, Bilaspur. After the floral welcome, the book of abstracts (proceedings) was unveiled by Dr. Urvashi Shrivastava (Head and convener ) and Dr. Sanjay Guha. Thereafter, The Principal of the Institute, Dr. Mohan Gupta has addressed the august gathering of participants and faculty members. Then the participants, faculty members and research scholars are addressed by the organising secretary, Prof. Kishor Kumar Deka of Management Department, BIT, Durg, which is followed by welcome Speech along with report of Management Department by Dr. Urvashi Shrivastava (Head -Managemnt). The first Technical session started with the presentation of the keynote speaker Dr. Bobby B Pandey, Assistant Professor, Guru Ghasidas Univerisity, Bilaspur on "Contemporary Issues” . The in-charge of the first technical session were Dr. Minal shah and Dr. Aparajita Pattanaik. Three papers were presented in this session. The second Technical session was Chaired by Dr, Bobby B Pandey, Assistant Professor, G.G.U. , Bilaspur, and Session in charge were Dr. Daljeet Singh Wadhwa , Associate Professor, and Dr. Sheetal Sharma, Assistant Professor, Management Department, BIT,Durg respectively. A total number of 4 papers were presented by Research Scholars. After the Participants presented their technical papers, Session Chair Dr. Bobby B Pandey has summarized the papers presented by the participants. In the third Technical session the keynote speaker was Dr. Prachi Singh, Head of the Management Department, St. Vincent Palloti College, Raipur “Coping up with stress management in todays scenario”. This session was also chaired by Dr. Prachi Singh and a sum total of 4 papers were presented. The Session In-charge were Dr. Judith Gomes and Prof. Saurabh Tomar of Management Department, BIT,Durg. After the Participants presented their technical papers, Session chair Dr. Prachi Singh summarized the papers presented during the session. The event ended with vote of thanks by Dr. Ashok Chandra. The event winded-up at 12.00pm. The press release was prepared by Prof. Shrawan Pandey. The research papers were reviewed by Dr. Ashok Chandra and Dr. D K Gangeshwar. Summary : The Department of Information Technology & Computer applications BIT Durg organized a National Conference on 22-23 October 2021. The participants were Research Scholars, PG Students and UG Students and 100 of them attended and participated in the conference from various colleges. BITCON2021 was conducted on Google Meet and YouTube platform under the guidance of Dr. Ani Thomas (HOD and Convener of National Conference). The conference was divided into six sessions: Inaugural Ceremony, 4 Technical sessions and Valedictory Ceremony. The aim of the Conference was to showcase the recent trends and approaches by the academicians, researchers, executives, professionals, students and many others. The conference provided a platform to discuss the factors related to Trends in development of Intelligent Systems; to share novel ideas, concepts and to endeavor different dimensions for successfully implementing technologies for the fast changing need of the hour. The event started with the registration of the participants from 10 am on 22-10-2021. The Inaugural Ceremony started at 11 am on the same day. Following the Indian tradition, Inaugural Ceremony started with Saraswati Vandana which was followed by Welcome Speech along with introduction of Department of IT & MCA by Dr. Ani Thomas (HOD - IT & MCA). In the first Technical session, a keynote address was presented by the eminent speaker Dr. Kanak Saxena, Professor, Samrat Ashok Technological Institute, Vidisha (M.P.) on the topic "Technological Impacts on COVID’19”. In the second Technical session, the keynote address was presented by the invited speaker Dr. Bharat Singh, Assistant Professor, IIIT Ranchi entitled “Artificial Intelligence and its Significance”. The Third Technical Session was chaired by Dr. Bharat Singh in which participants from various colleges presented their research ideas, which ended at 4.30 pm on 22-10-2021. Technical Session 4 began at 10.30 AM on 23-10-2021 which was once again about paper presentation session where presenters presented their research papers. The Session Chairs were Dr. Imran Baig Mirza, Assistant Professor, Poona College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Camp, Pune and Dr. Bharat Singh, Assistant Professor, IIIT Ranchi. After the Participants presented their technical papers, Session chairs summarized the session about the presentations of the participants. The Valedictory Session was scheduled from 12 noon of 23-10-2021, in which Dr. Ani Thomas addressed the gathering. Dr. Jyothi Pillai, Organising Secretary (IT), gave a brief report of the 2-days conference. The event BITCON 2021 ended with the Vote of Thanks by Mr. Amit Kumar Biswas, Organising Secretary (MCA). The inaugural function started at 11.00 AM, to mark the beginning of the event Dr S.K.Jaiswal , Convener, Professor and Head, and Mr. Tushar Saxena, organizing secretary along with the presence of all the faculty members.The event started with the lamp lightening ceremony as a tribute to goddess saraswati. This was followed by welcome address by the head of the department and a motivational video message by Dr. Mohan Gupta, Principal BIT, Durg. There after the proceedings of the conference were unveiled by the Head of the department and committee members. Forty three papers were contributed from faculties, postgraduate, undergraduate and research scholars in the conference. In the first session, Mrs. Mallika Jain introduced the speaker to the gathering; keynote address was delivered by Dr G.D Ramtekkar Prof and Head , NIT Raipur; delivered his expert talk on “Good Concreting and Proper Reinforcement Detailing for Good Construction” In the second session, Ms Deepti Hazari introduced the speaker to the gathering; keynote address was delivered by Dr.Kaustav Sarkar, Assistant Professor, IIT Mandi on the theme “Mositure Transport in Concrete - Experimentation and Simulation” At 3:30 pm the 1st Technical session is conducted by Mrs Madhumati Yadav in which the session chair person is Dr. Jayant Supe , Associate Professor, RCET Bhilai in which 10 participants have presented their paper. On the 2nd day of BITCON, the 2nd Technical session is conducted by Mrs Deepa Sahu in which the session chairperson is Dr.R.K.Mishra,Prof and Dean BIT Raipur reviewed 10 papers presented by participants Lastly the valedictory session has been concluded by Mr.Tushar Saxene in which all the faculties made the neccessary arrangements to make this event successful.

Technical Session 2 and 3 was about paper session where students presented about their research paper. The Session Chair was Dr Sanjeev shrivastava ,Mechanical Engineering, RIT Raipur and Session Incharge was Mr Jaysingh Gaharwar, Assistant Professor ,Mechanical Engineering, BIT,Durg. After the Participants presented their technical papers, Session chair Dr Sanjeev shrivastava summarized the session about the talks of keynote speaker as well as the participants.
