Dr. Rajesh Lalwani is presently serving as Associate Professor in Department of Applied Physics, Bhilai Institute of Technology, Durg. He received the Doctor’s degree in “Investigation of Structural and Optical Properties of CdS and PbS Doped Materials” in Applied Physics from Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekanand Technical University, Bhilai. He has been actively involved in teaching and research activities for more than 15 years. Earlier he has worked as Assistant Professor of Physics in Govt. Science College, Durg and Govt. College, Kurud during Year 2001-2005. He has published over 25 original research papers in reputed international and national journals & international and national conferences. He is also co-author of book “A text book of Engineering Physics Practical”. He has an excellent academic record. His research interests are in the field of Nano science and Technology, Semiconductor Devices, Solar Cells, Sensors, Thin/Thick Film Technology and Materials Science. He is a leading researcher in thin films and chemical deposition of materials and developed several novel materials for fabricating IR detectors, solar cells, optical sensors, photoconductive materials. He has got a collaborative research project with UGC-DAE Consortium for Scientific research ,Indore as principal investigator. He is named in the panel of reviewers of reputed international journals.
